Seriously, that is awful. Where is that peer pressure that existed 15-20 yrs ago.
I can't say that I am necessarily in favor of eating disorders, but if a few have to struggle with this for the good of the herd, so be it.

My g/f in college said their cheer leading squad had a weekly weight check in. If they were over a certain amount they were suspended from the squad until they got their weight down. 2 times in a semester and you were off the squad. Sounds that rule needs to be employed.
It seems like all we see on TV or M2M is shots of the BIG cheerleader and now the THICK dance team girl. Both are positioned on the end of the lineup where cameras have no choice but to focus in on them. How hard would it be to put the bigger girls on the back row in the middle? It just seems like it would be much harder for the cameras to find them.
Weight isn't the most important thing.

She's on the all girls cheering squad. She was standing in front of our section during the South Carolina game and at one point was blocking Clowney from my view.**
