Talking to ole C34 he brought something to my attention that I didn't realize. Who are our WRs next yr? This is who I've got feel free to correct an old man....

Brandon Hollaway
Fred Brown
Jameon Lewis
Ricco Sanders
Sam Williams
Joe Morrow

Did I miss anybody? And do you feel this is going to be a problem area for us in the near future? I've heard Carr was coming back and that would help exponentially but who else?

Like spidey says. Ro Jo and Malcolm are going to be the two most important. I have showed my love for Ro Jo's skill set. I think he has the it factor.

we currently have 4 WR's committed in this new class ... as of next year who knows how the guys listed above will perform, I haven't been impressed with any of their performances so far ... RoJo and M. Johnson are the only 2 I have faith in ... question- is Market a wr or def back ?

Sam Willians is a sr. We expect to sign 1 juco outside and 1 juco slot wr's at a minimum. Also bringing in some very talented true freshman WR's but I think Shelby Christy is the main one who can come contribute immediately

Market is a safety and Sam Williams went through senior day so I'm guessing that means he won't be back.

Completely forgot about RoJo. Malcolm'll stay @ TE. And yes I haven't been impressed with either of the guys listed earlier. Ricco has shown flashes of being a good WR but he completely fell off this yr. Lewis needs to work on his route running, and Morrow needs to understand his assignments at the 1.

Right now I would expect Morrow and RoJo to start on the outside with Fred Brown and JUCO signee as backups. Tubby in the slot with either a JUCO or Holloway backing him up. Malcolm will be our receiving tight end and better either first or second in targets next season.

He mentioned switched to some Air Raid concepts and that's when I thought- "Do we have 8-10 guys to practice this Spring? You got to have at least 8 guys to practice if you plan to go 4-wide- and I couldnt think of 8 guys for Spring ball

I agree 100%. About the only way to do that is playing all those true freshman. I just don't think Hammond, Austin, or Holmes will be ready. They all probably need a RS. I think you'll see more Malcolm as a H back/slot type guy w/Hill as TE to help combat this. So basically a de facto 2 TE set

Morrow needs to find some attitude when the ball is in the air.....Some aggression. He was a RS frosh so maybe he will find it this year. Maybe he needed a little time to grow mentally.

He had it in the spring but a few early drops significantly hurt his confidence particularly the Troy game. Brewster gets plenty of time to build him up. I think he'll be fine

Deonte Evans - is he playing WR?

He's listed as an ATH, 5'10" 190 lbs. I think he played RB and DB in highschool.

Ah yes, the one that hit him in the 17ing numbers while he was standing 25 yards from the closest defender and where he could have literally walked on his 17ing hands into the endzone.

Yeah, I would say that catching the football when you arent covered is pretty important skill set for a wide 17ing receiver.

What a joke. Best passing QB in the history of MSU and our coaches can't get 2 WR ranked in the top 200. Pick any school anywhere and I bet they have 2 better WR than MSU for next season.
