I’d say that is the smart guess. Let the other women build themselves up a little with her out of the picture dealing with all those other belts. Then she can come win the “big” belt.

Finn just had two title matches and him vs Dom isn't currently worthy of a spot. Tag titles can be defended week of on Raw/SD. Raw is still 2.5 hrs and SD 3. I know it's WWE but that's plenty of time to do a couple pre-WM matches.

I heard with the earlier start time they could do 14 but 16 also possible.
Also they are doing the first hour on espn I wonder if it will be a good opener like last year (iyo/rhea/bianca) or more or a pre show type match (Gunther/rey).
WWE going to try to set the record for most # of commercials aired over one broadcast.
Sold more tickets to an all-women’s show in a mud hut (as Liv Morgan would say) than WWE ever sold to an Evolution show. More than double what WWE did for the last Evolution show, to be exact
Looking at Smackdown results from last night. Priest and R Truth are a tag team? What?
This made me think of Cody’s “Real American” promo in AEW that caused Codymania to run wild on that big stinky giant Anthony Agogo, brother!

This is what happens when a company is shunned by fans and employees for not renewing the contract of a comedy guy in his 50s as younger, NXT wrestlers are coming up. What can you realistically do with R-Truth? That was my argument when he wasn't going to be renewed. As for Priest, he just hasn't connected with fans since he's been away from Ripley but that's on him. She's been fine, JD as a group has been fine. Priest? Yikes.

He's clearly not Roman in any way but it reminds me when the Shield disbanded. Rollins and Ambrose had their own gimmicks and music but Reigns (I think) was still coming out to the Shield theme and still wearing Shield gear. Priest's 'All Rise' theme is terrible, he's still wearing JD colors, he wants to be Razor which doesn't really work for him as this goth guy from the streets of PR, and for a while his connection to fans was repeatedly saying "alright...real talk...". I hate it for him but he needs a new everything.
They simultaneously shat upon their entire tag division by throwing together a team of an aging comedy character and rudderless former world champion and instantly made them No. 1 contenders via a gauntlet match.
Classic WWE tag team booking.
She's held multiple titles under the WWE umbrella while James had one short tag title run in NXT and been in EC. Other than that, she's held a bag and talked for Giulia. Giulia does need to be booked better but just because fans are realizing James is pretty good in her own right does not mean she's presented as a bigger star.
I think sometimes we spend more time knocking down incorrect Meltzer talking points (which are just his opinions) than actual wrestling talk. At the end of the day, you need to be able to talk in WWE. You cannot be a silent assassin-type with no personality. If WWE put the ball in Giulia's court and told her to go cut a 3 min. promo, how do you think that'd go? She's gotta be able to connect with an audience and she's gotta have some personality. Nothing but occasional 'bangers' just doesn't cut it in WWE.
He’s just another guy he doesn’t stand out in AEW it’s not like he’s getting a title shot. He’s re-running the briscoe betrayal in AEW just like he did in nxt - then what?
They made it work for other non-English speaking Japanese talent like Nakamura, Asuka, and Iyo.
Only title she’s held on the main roster is the US title, which WWE has proven time and time again ever since it was introduced that they don’t care about it. That would be like someone saying “but they put the Trios belt on them” for an AEW wrestler.
And she has personality. She showed plenty of it in Japan. WWE ain’t letting her.

Dakota Kai, now going by Charlie, made her return to the ring today at EVE (British women’s fed) today against Kris Statlander.
AEW introduced their own FAST channel. But here’s the kicker for international fans (or if you can use a VPN) - all AEW and ROH PPVs included on the $19.99 a month or $119.99 annual plan.
An absolute bargain. Before I was using my VPN to buy the AEW PPVs for like $25 per month, now I can subscribe annually and basically get all 10 PPVs for slightly less than I was paying for 5 of them and then I can get all the TV shows and all ROH weekly TV/PPVs on top of that.
I can’t confirm if you can watch PPVs via VPN yet but they give the option to subscribe via VPN.
