Nick Bockwinkel used to tell young heels that you only insult fans for things they chose to do. Haircuts, clothing, things they shout out, etc. People who feel sad about wrestling aren’t going to pay for wrestling. That’s my contribution to the discourse.

I know social media is basically required for wrestlers nowadays, but the IWC is such a cesspool, it would be really hard to navigate well. Hell, I've even seen Danhausen say awful things to fans (that admittedly were probably called for). I don't know how the wrestlers don't say worse things to the neckbeards wishing them dead, injured, etc.

Also a lot of Dynamite tonight just straight up ******* sucked. One of the worst Dynamites in a long as* time. And the crowd actively went out of their way to make the good parts worse. Throw the people in attendance in prison because they don’t deserve freedom.

I'd put it this way, the floor for Dynamite since last year was around a 7 out of 10 for me. Last night and the January 29, 2025 episode are the only two Dynamites since 2025 to get a 6.
If the crowd wasn't atrocious it would have been a good bit better. But when you got a crowd that seemingly cares about one thing and one thing only - high spots - there's not much you can do to salvage it beyond just doing flippy stuff for two straight hours. It's like Fresno collectively decided to only send the worst type of WWE, AEW, and Indie fan and put them all in one arena at the same time. Like how do you not even pop for Will Ospreay's entrance if nothing else? Just unfathomable levels of crappiness from that crowd.
No kidding sometimes the wrestling gods have their way with telling their story - if Toni is legit hurt which Alvarez indicates wonder when it happened?
I know not all neck injuries are the same but I did watch his match - for being out 6 months he looked like he hadn’t missed a beat which is insane and didn’t hold back much
Big void at the top of the women’s division without Toni and Mercedes. Mercedes will probably be back by the spring though. Next top babyface is Hayter and Willow I suppose. Willow has the TBS title and Hayter doing tag stuff though.
Maybe they can get Queen Aminata cleared and have her face Thekla. Those two have great chemistry and it’s a perfect filler feud for Dynasty until they can figure something out for Double or Nothing in late May.

I saw this posted online somewhere and have to agree. "Last night's Dynamite is what happens when the wrestlers almost kill themselves for a PPV and hardly anyone is cleared for Wednesday."
There were some good things but overall a very "MEH" show.
Guessing we are building to some sort of TLC match with the Bucks, FTR and Cage and Copeland. Maybe at Double Or Nothing.

Toni Storm is the only one not cleared and they didn’t find out about that until basically last minute. And then Hangman is getting planned time off. MJF got the week off and rightfully so but he still contributed with a pretape and has already been announced for next week.

Basically zero follow up for anything from the women’s division other than Toni and Marina was 100% inexcusable though. Got three women’s titles and you can’t find time to do anything with them on Dynamite??

Crossover: Basketball Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in April, per ESPN sources. Rodman made his WCW debut in 1997 and famously skipped a practice during the 1998 NBA Finals for a wrestling match alongside Hulk Hogan. Two HOFs for Rodman.

Fightful reporting Toni Storm expected to be out through at least the rest of 2026. That would put the timeframe around 9 months. Juice get her pregnant? If she was injured I would think they would have known at least a few hours before the show that she wasn't going to get cleared...
The Observer is saying Revolution buys were up 27% from World's End, which would put it around 180K, which is what Sting's retirement did. And I think that was the third largest after Punk's first PPV and the first All In.
