Wonder what the difference in a WWE deal and a TKO deal is?
Wonder what the difference in a WWE deal and a TKO deal is?
I imagine WWE's goal is to model their roster like NBA teams were doing In the Big Three era - three stars making a ton of money, everyone else a replaceable role player on a cheap deal. Of course WWE needs more than three stars, but it's the general philosophy hey are likely going for. At this point, they've had far too many people willing to sign deals for below market value that they know they can easily get away with it.
Look at what they did to UFC - it's a discount deal getting paid pennies on a dollar compared to what they were making.Wonder what the difference in a WWE deal and a TKO deal is?
Ya it’s possible - the first sign would be less attendance then if prices are lowered significantly and crowd doesn’t pick up that ya that’s alarming.End of the day I'm just a guy online. I'm not going to pretend I'm saddened because no one died and I don't know these wrestlers or behind the scenes people. Let the locker room, their friends, feel for them. I imagine the last few weeks have been crazy with the TKO interference and the releases but as Punk said in his pipe bomb, he's just a spoke on the wheel and when he's gone, the wheel's gonna keep turning and fans will still pour money into the company. That applies to every wrestler. Someone on Reddit actually said he believes WWE will be done by decade's end. You heard it there first, TKO is going to kill WWE and it'll be no more within four years...
The New Day had a ton of success but after E left, it wasn't the same and they mainly did backstage segments. Who knows what they expected or what they were offered but you can't expect a business to roll out a red carpet for midcard guys doing stuff backstage and had maybe one match per month. And the two MFT guys are awful. Mateo currently has the aura of a puddle on a sidewalk and Loa somehow botched a low blow in front of the audience, the camera, and God. What do you want a business worth billions to do with that?
Because I’m a bad person, when she premiered I thought to myself that Xavier Woods would be a happy man. I didnt post it because I didnt want to seem like a bad person, lol.Odd timing Paige showed up and Xavier is gone???
Pretty sure I read they’d have to wait 90 days.Where does this leave the New Day? Their contract didn't expire (which would make them free agents immediately), and they weren't released (90-day waiting period while still being paid their downside). Are they free to sign elsewhere today, or do they have to wait some period of time?
Do it - would bring something back to tag team wrestling

Apparently TK was a big nxt black and gold fan - guess he literally gets to live out his dream signing the roster up to AEW.AEW will have a killer tag division and a great midcard. And you know WWE is purposely wasting Gargano at the moment so he doesn't join Ciampa in 90 days. He and LeRae will be gone sooner rather than later. Could have a situation where a show like Collision is basically an old school NXT black and gold type show.
I mean isn’t that how locker rooms In general were in the 80s and 90s so basically we are going back to the way locker rooms used to be.WWE is going to mess around and potentially foster an environment where main roster veterans are going to resent the younger (and cheaper) talent because the veterans will look at working with them as training their replacements.
Yeah and look at how many egotistical pricks that produced that held people back. Stuff like that is what helped kill WCW.I mean isn’t that how locker rooms In general were in the 80s and 90s so basically we are going back to the way locker rooms used to be.
