Well I’ll be shocked if it’s not Penta vs. Fenix in the finals with Penta winning. Having their two next highest profile lucha guys in Americano and Dom not in this is dumb. At least create some suspense that way. This is lame booking like half the tournaments AEW does lol
If someone believed WWE would be TV-MA or turn into 1996 ECW on Netflix, that's on them. They are a bit too sanitary for sure but we've already been through this with AEW. How many months in a row did Moxley play the part of Mr. Edgy? Notice he doesn't really do that anymore. Notice how you're not getting constant cussing from several talents anymore either. Why, it's almost as if a higher power told them to knock some of that off.
WWE wants to be PG and has been for decades. PG means occasional cussing and some blood. The censoring on Netflix is weird but I dunno, WWE clearly wants every age group and that includes kids. That's how you stay afloat and successful, by getting some from every group and not, well, dudes who used to be into ECW.

Completely censoring a live crowd to the point a promo or even an entire segment is completely ruined because the crowd is chanting a$$ or s—t on a platform with no FCC regulations is just awful television.
I understand why they do it. It’s just lame and I hate it and it’s OK for me to have that opinion.
Have you considered providing this sage wisdom to Christopher Nolan as his R-rated movie Odyssey recently crossed the $1 billion mark at the global box office? I’m sure he’d love to hear how making his movie PG would have made it more successful and kept his career afloat.

My understanding is that WWE wants to remain PG. I already said the censoring is weird. What more do you want from me? It's a weird decision. I watch the shows live so I don't encounter it. If some expected a return to the Attitude Era with the Netflix move, that would've been an incorrect assumption. That era is done. They want to remain PG and it's not changing.
What "sage wisdom" shall I provide? That WWE is PG. That's a statement, not advice. What does The Odyssey (fantastic film) have to do with a replay of a pro wrestling show on Netflix censoring out some cussing or blood? WWE isn't a movie. It's not The Odyssey, it's not Backrooms, it's not Obsession.
You guys gotta get out of attack mode lol. Sometimes I'm there as well but simply saying it's odd but they're a PG company shouldn't result in comparisons to epic Hollywood filmmaking and acting as if I don't believe no one should have an opinion.

Summerslam weekend you clogged the thread with constant anti-WWE takes like it's your personal FB page. You beat it into the ground so much that it gets tiresome and no one wants to respond to it constantly. You hate WWE more than you love AEW. If I can't even say they're a PG company and AEW had to pull the reins back some on national tv (which is true) without the above, then what's the point? Who needs that all the time?
All I’m saying is that not everything needs to nor should everything be for the kids. There’s plenty of entertainment thriving out there that most certainly is not for them.
Everyone always obsesses over “but what about the kids” whenever AEW or any other wrestling company does something that isn’t PG.

Sure it was scripted, but KO was basically shooting on Punk. His dislike for Punk is old enough that it could legally buy an adult beverage.
My favorite was when there was that match on dynamite and some blood match guy was using a pizza cutter and on the side a dominos commercial was rolling.

Not quite the same but adjacent, but when it was in college and the coach of the team I worked for gave everyone money for meals when the dining hall was closed over winter break, I’d always go to Arby’s when they still had the 5 roast beefs for $5 or $5.95. Wasn’t a better deal to be had.
I remember the dozen tacos from Taco Bell for 9.99 back in the day. That was always big.
