My dream has finally come true and it’s doing big numbers on online. His debut and his two teaser vignettes each got over 1.5 million views on Twitter.
Will it translate to anything that actually matters business wise though?
Just finished this one and you are right, that was a freaking spectacular tag match.Bucks vs. Fletcher/Knight has my clubhouse lead for tag match of the year
So let's be real here...any debut will get big numbers online unless it's a random from NJPW who Kenny loves or something. Also, if we're being fair, if this were WWE you'd likely discount the Twitter views as "those aren't actual views because you can scroll past a video that automatically plays and that counts as a view." I know this because you've done it before lol.My dream has finally come true and it’s doing big numbers on online. His debut and his two teaser vignettes each got over 1.5 million views on Twitter.

I'm happy for him and he belongs in AEW but you know the answer already. A talented midcarder in WWE who's probably 5'7, not seen in several months, isn't going to be a game changer or needle mover in AEW. By Thanksgiving he'll be having random matches on Collision while the rest of the country is watching college football. Again, very happy for him but you asked the question. We've seen this about forty times with much bigger names with bigger legacies and none of them did what you're wondering. Pillars, needle movers, mystery Max numbers...it's a lot of hype. I recall SRS suggesting that because Mercedes has over a million followers on IG, they could follow her to AEW. Buddy, most of those are either bots or women who care about her fashion type photos. No one followed her to AEW.
You asked the question, I gave the answer lol.
I mean you asked a question and I gave a thoughtful answer. That's how threads work. If you don't like my answer, refute it but don't get snarky if you ask something and the response isn't akin to "oh yes I agree game changer this is really really massive for the industry and AEW. Big big business coming"How much money have you given to Nigerian princes that have emailed you asking for money?
And your "thoughtful answer" shows you lack any understanding of context, nuance, and AEW, just like they always do. You're so brainwashed by the WWE way that was proliferated by a rapist and a racist that you are completely incapable of understanding anything else.I mean you asked a question and I gave a thoughtful answer. I like him, he's very talented. AEW will appreciate him more than WWE did. But he won't move the needle and in a few weeks will just be having random matches. Nothing wrong with that but it's been like 7 years of "OMG THIS IS MASSIVE FOR AEW" and we're still waiting. The only time a move like this will set the industry on fire and mean big things is if MJF, Mox, or Kenny shows up in WWE or about 7-10 top stars in WWE show up in AEW. Ilja isn't one of those names. I love Ciampa but the man fought a pair of pants on PPV last night lol. He's not a big business get either.
Danhausen is nothing but a comedy wrestler and apparently Ciampa is too nowFunnier than anything Danhausen has ever done
He’s so blinded by tribalism he gives the same basic response over and overI mean you asked a question and I gave a thoughtful answer. That's how threads work. This is a stupider reply than anything Nighties or LaParkafan say. Congratulations.Danhausen is nothing but a comedy wrestler and apparently Ciampa is too now
Sometimes things are so stupid they don't deserve the dignity of a better response. He’s so blinded by tribalism he gives the same basic response over and over
Same fluff over and over it’s essentially a TK AI botSometimes things are so stupid they don't deserve the dignity of a better response.
