I thought they did a better job differentiating between the two B&G matches this year. Women’s was basically a TV friendly wrestling adaptation of a Terrifier movie, men’s was much less bloody but had more wrestling moves and big spots with some explosives. Also was much story driven

The women’s match didn’t really have much story to work with so thought it was a good move to make it the shock value, spectacle match.

PWI reporting Enzo Amore has officially signed with WWE within the last week and is NXT bound

Megan Bayne easily MVP of Blood & Guts - both matches - followed closely behind by Lena Kross. That was a Muta Scale bloodletting by Bayne.

Meanwhile people WWE picked of all people to be the surprise competitor for the NXT women's title freaking Paige. That woman hasn't had a good singles match in like a decade. She's not even a numbers mover, her top ranked selling t-shirt is ranked #182 while her second is #374. There were numerous better options.

How did Megan get so busted up?

If I remember right, she started bleeding in like the first two minutes of the match and just went more and more and more as it went along.

My favorite part of the men's match was Okada bringing out the leafblower to blow away the tacks on the ground, lol.

And we all know it, but Darby Allen is a damned fool.

AEW had Bandido looking like a lucha Brock Lesnar last night. Evil Bandido looked godly.

Creed and Kofi being locked into a serious blood feud now is going to be interesting and something they never came anywhere close to being able to do in WWE. WWE had a chance to do something with them as mega heels after turning on Big E but WWE seemed like all they really wanted out of it was a viral moment. And even if they had capitalized on it, the level of violence never would have been what we can see in AEW. Plus there’s the whole Big E can’t wrestle thing that would have caused some creative difficulties.

Need to kill the women's Blood and Guts match. Or at least never book a few of these ladies for this type of match ever again. How can anyone take this seriously when they looked like they were more interested in mugging for the cameras or pretending to pose for selfies with blood all over their faces.
