Wrh have been in elizabeth more big games than i can count and they always find a way to win it kills me that these folks seem to think that wrh is garbage or something,i tell. U who not doing alot of talking , coach moore if he is its among themselves cause he know hes playing a great team all of us talking about this n that which is fan talk but he and the other coaches talking about how do u stop a monster when u know what they gonna do and do it effectively ,and our coaches vice versa, these coaches and players are more amped thatn any of us are two top teams one with more tradition than. Going to church when u was a kid,and the other the upstart that blossomed out of nowhere and doing damage to who ever defies them so now these programs set to do battle ...GET YA POPCORN READY ITS GONNA BE A SHOW U WILL NOT FORGET..

Someone from craven county said they thought they were gonna come. I want everyone to, I'm 5 mins away. They won't be busy at 5, and we will bet to the stadium easily by 630. NHS is 3 miles away
I'm looking forward to meeting all of yall. I love this time of year, and this is the biggest game we've played other than Edenton last year. Our stadium is old but very nice on both sides. The field is nice also. The weather is supposed to be ok as well. No excuse from me if we were to lose, I will shake all of your hands, I'm a good loser

I have had a great pleasure of meeting coach Mottsingers Mother and Father. Good people. They don't comment on ncpreps,but reads religiously. I would like to invite them to come to groupers and hang out( probably don't hang out)and have dinner before the game. It's a pleasure to have your family in our community. Y'all one of ours

I'm a betting man Big Bird, would you like to bet on the game? It doesn't have to be big, we can keep it friendly. I will be arriving at 630 and will be sitting on the visitors side. I will be wearing a tobaggan and have a black NHS hoodie on. I will be sitting on the top row of the bleachers at the 40 yard line. Get with me beforehand if you'd like to bet with WRH. Im not sure if your an EB guy or not, but there's no way your from Elizabeth City betting against NHS. Not with a team as talented as coach Moore has assembled this year. They have yet to dissapoint, and I can assure you that in years past I have been a huge critic of theirs. I was a big supporter of coach McDaniels and thought that he was done wrong. I talked with him earlier today and he said that he was at the Clinton game Fiday night. He was very impressed with his old team and saI'd they looked really good.

I know this was a few years back when WRH was 1AA but WRH had to make the trip to play Tarboro. Tons of hype for Tarboro, heard all week long about how WRH couldn’t do this couldn’t do that. WRH went up to the Northeast part of the State and walked the Dog on them. Just saying I’ve seen this before and it’s not pretty for the other team. This was also a 3rd round game fwiw
True tiger i was at that game the score was 42 -17 wrh .won that game and didnt pass once.Ne think they can stop us because of what they seen out of their team .. This game gonna come down to defense. The plays the team see on the tape they wont see friday night they will see same formations but differently ran plays from the wing t. If they cant stop our running game they wont win 4qtr if their defense gets tired its over .. Wrh runs the wing t better than any school in the state ..
Scronce has probably just as much knowledge about the Wing-T as Holley did. A lot of firepower left in that playbook. No doubt in my mind some plays have been installed that are under wraps. I’m sure NE has a few tricks up their sleeve as well that’s where Mott’s defensive genius big game experience comes in.
Blackbulldog, that Tarboro game is one of my favorites. Wallace won 35-10. I believe Tarboro had been to 5 2A state championships in a row. I'm sure a lot of them thought 1AA was going to be a cakewalk. The Dogs came to play that night. The next week Wallace lost to James Kenan in the eastern finals. JK went on to win the Championship.
Did u know he coached hoover four times championship teams.didnt know that till last week he coached at hoover alabama when he left new hanover,he has seen every offense their is to run hes a defensive genius adjustments during games and at halftime.this game gonna be epic..
DuplinCountyTiger, man WRH and JK had some serious battles for a 4 year stretch there. It is always a big rivalry game with a lot on the line but those games during that time were seriously intense. Lol.
Hopefully we are back next year...... correct me if I’m wrong but it has been over 2 years since WRH has lost a road game. May give the Dogs even more of a advantage playing this in E City
Tiger, I believe your right. I think WRH last loss on the road was 2015 first game of the season against JK.
No disrespect to Edenton but Reidsville loved watching that triple option! It is hard to beat really good teams when you can only run the ball. I know it happens but...
