WRH at SWO for the 2a eastern championship... thoughts and predictions

wow how far has SWO come since the beginning of the year. WRH beat them 49-7 earlier in the year. I am expecting a little closer game this time around. hopefully the Dogs have a good week of practice and put the northeastern game behind them. My prediction is Dogs win 42-24.

A little early for my thoughts on this game. Just hope WRH saves those scores for BBall season next Saturday .....:eek:

Very impressive what Dempsey has done getting SWO back in the Eastern title game in his what 3rd year....Think this game will depend on Wallace’s state of mind big emotional victory last night do they have a let down this week?SWO run defense vs some good EB running backs was impressive but Williams and Newkirk are just a different breed especially Williams.....i felt the winner of the NE/WRH would represent the east im sticking to it.....if WRH plays like they are suppose to they win easily....WRH 35 SWO 14

All well and good. But I dont think it ALL depends on how WRH plays. We've taken on 3 top backs in the playoffs and held all to under 100 yards. A different Stallion team from what we fielded beginning of season. Will it be good enough against the "Junk Yard Dogs". Same players just different positions. Coach Dempsey made the changes and it is working so far. Its gonna be the same old, same old. RUN, RUN, RUN and Defense. I am concerned about the passsing game, not ours but WRHs.

Stallions will fire up the Jumo-Tron and if the weather aint just right might close the roof on the dome stadium. Padded seats, on the home side that is, are heated and cooled depending on the weather. Visitor seats are Just COOLED ....LOL. There will be lots of team gear on sale at the SWO STAND. Colors are right for WRH fans, but the mascot may not be to their liking. Bring your web gear and listen to Billy and Melvin do the Pla-by-Play while you watch. They had a CLASSIC play friday night. I couldnt tell what the heck was going on. They the ball on EB 20, then on SWO 10, all on the same play. Flags were flying and who knew what down is was or who had the ball. Its on the archive audio of the game. Only prediction is Billy and Melvin will be a hoot on the broadcast.

Orange and Black will be in Chapel Hill for the Ship thats a given.
WRH rolls easily 42-14 this GAME should be in the dog pound we were the better team earlier in the season and we are in a harder conference.

i think WRH wins this game but i dont see them wining easily. when we played SWO i noticed right away that they had some very good atheletes on their team. we beat them 31-7, not as bad as WRH, but we really had to work for the rushing yards we got. like i said, i think WRH wins this one and advances to Chapel Hill, but i definitely dont see a blowout this time around like last time! SWO is a very good team at this stage in the season! i just think WRH is better!

Right on all three points.BUT ....The dogs have fleas, slobber, pass gas, drink out of tha toilet, lick them selfs and eat their own crap. Bull dogs are real bad for all that stuff. Dont see Stallions doing any of that.

Now what does any of that have to do with this coming game NONE OF IT.

Granted we have a tough row to hoe.

Like it was previously stated....this is a different team then what they played the last time.......different mentality and sometimes all it takes is for a team to start 2 gel at the right time....... Orange N Black affair I'm going with my STALLIONS 24-21 to pull off the upset!!!!!!

true that! WRH and SWO both are no strangers to success in high school football! the Stallions have quite a legacy of their own!

The word is the Stallions have the advantage over the Dogs in wins to losses. In 99-2000 the Stallions sent the dogs home with a loss. So it would be a task for the Dogs to win a Playoff game in Jacksonville. The Senior Class Should want to include that in their legacy.

Should be interesting.

Correct a-mundo .... Stallions since 99 hold a 4-2 advantage on WRH. Two of our wins were play-off games along with 2 reg season. Dogs have 2 reg season wins including the one this year. Yes it would be a nice legacy for you, but also for SWO to add WRH with EB in not winning a playoff game against us. But as they say, Every Dog Has His Day, better buy a lottery ticket for this Friday also.I liked the Goobs score prediction.....he has quite a track record in BIG GAMES ......:rolleyes:

im no betting man but i think it will be much closer than that. i do have WRH winning but not in a huge blowout. the SWO team playing now is a lot better than the one WRH beat earlier in the year.

Goob says Wallace by 42, elsewhere he said, I firmly believe Dogs by 35. But is only willing to give 21. By Wendsday maybe he will be down some more.....:confused: Heck he might even pull for us by Friday ...NAW we dont want that.

i feel you. i did say i think you guys will win. i just dont think it will be the blowout some people predict. it would be very neat to have both ED and WRH in Chapel Hill playing for a championship! no disrespect to SWO but i do think ND will be tougher for us to beat than SWO is for WRH.

21 is what I'm giving up if I'm betting. That is more than gracious. I believe wrh will win by 5 tds or more. I'm giving 21 and that is a plenty, if you'd like to take me up.on it just let me know. It's nothing more to it it. We can bet small or large. Not being cocky or anything, I'm just looking to bet,that's all.
