Great win. Looked like one of those games that wasn’t going to go our way. White gets robbed of a homer. Then Rinehart misses 3-run homer by inches.

WVU is alone at the top of the Big 12 and there are 3 more series left in conference. 2 are at home and one of those home series is against the team currently at 2nd in the Big 12. Good spot to be in at this point.
I hate to predict anything in baseball because it is so unpredictable. But if they can take care of business, they SHOULD get in the top 8 spots and be in position to host regional/super regional.
Hosting would be great. I'd also like to win the Big 12 and outright if possible. We have a 2 game lead on Kansas and 3 game lead on TCU. TCU still has 3 vs Arizona as well as 3 vs Utah on the road and 3 vs Cincinnati at home. Kansas has 3 vs Cincinnati as well as 3 vs BYU at home before ending with 3 vs WVU in Morgantown. So toughest sledding is for TCU. Kansas has it easier, but still has to make up 2 games and come to Morgantown. So unless TCU or Kansas end the season on an 8+ win run, WVU can still win it by taking 6 out of 9 down the stretch.
