We were a little better tonight, but nothing to be happy about. We are going to need a lot of help from the pigs and bears to have a chance. Watching OM right now, I just don't see us beating them.

Obviously, you haven't consulted with the few on here who are enamored by our "effort." Fundamentals, technique, offensive and defensive originality, clock management, etc., who gives a 17 about those ... that **** is all trumped by the all mighty effort card.

There was absolutely no excuse for this game to be a 20 pt blowout. We've lost our last 3 games by an avg of 25 pts and we have people praising our effort....Seriously?

Agree completely.

I was not expecting a win, but I knew we couldn't hurt ourselves and still win. Unfortunately, our coaches killed us on several occasions, and we didn't take advantage of key opportunities. Our 3rd and short play calling was horrible, and that prevent that cost us 7 before the half was so bad it should cost Wilson his job. When you're outmanned, you better be able to outcoach and/or outsmart teams...we can do neither. As long as Wilson is here, we will never beat good teams, bc "bend but don't break" beats the teams you're better than, but gets you beat against teams with more talent (especially when it's more break and less bend). And lastly, if you are getting good production out of 2 tailbacks, there should be no need for a 3rd. ESpecially if Milton is a guy that the coach said was fumbling a lot in the preseason. And if you're going to play him in SEC play, let's not let his first carry in a meaningful game be a toss sweep on our own 20 in Death Valley. I know you can't predict a fumble, but there was no need for Milton in that situation. Rant over, disappointed.
