This morning I've been looking through the drawings for their planned renovation of the south endzone and what they can afford in the north endzone. And if you haven't realized yet.. it's complete ********. A half-assed attempt to sling **** against the wall and hope it sticks for the sake of turnstile numbers and to appease the fanbase.
The south endzone reno is obvious penis envy over the Gridiron and Scoreboard Clubs. But it's the north endzone where things go completely off the rails. A steel frame with aluminum risers? Seriously bears? Y'all ain't Scooba Tech, man.. This is the SEC. Spring for some cast-in-place concrete and have a little forethought for the decades to come. Cause after you do that in the NEZ.. you're screwed on ever expanding (unless you're willing to tear that crap down). Seriously.. just demo those crappy little buildings between VHS and the street, toss 80M at the job and make it look like the SEZ. It might take another 5 years but at least you'd have something to be proud of.
Cause as it stands now, you're about to make "The Vaught" look like total *** just to win the party.
