..you gave the WR's/slot-backs/H-backs all the grade of C or D, yet with them all returning, you claim the outlook is "very good."

Please explain the magic fairy dust Mullen is going to sprinkle on this current batch of mediocre recievers that wll make them "very good" next year.

..with his steady stream of homoerotic love letters to Dan Mullen, yet this guy is a joke.

Don't even attempt to explain that one.

The Very Good has more to do with the next 4 years not next year. I do feel the outside receivers will be good next year. The H-Back position won't be great until Bumphis leaves Mullen won't bench him like he should. No disrespect to the kid he just isn't good enough to be a SEC starter. Lewis will be a star once he gets learns how to hold onto the ball and Fosselman is a good player. If the Holloway kids does end up at H-Back then he is a game changer also that is why i'm high on the position. I think the play calling hurt the receivers this year also but they didn't play up to their potential.

He's not always right, and he definitely stirs the pot, but he knows what he's talking about and usually makes some pretty good points. Even at his worst, I've never thought to myself, "Damn, that guy is an idiot." Some posters I usually just ignore because I know they're idiots (or trolls which is really the same thing anyway).

I worked atWard's on old canton back in the day - we made our rootbeer in the back in a big ceramic coated washbasin with tap water and a couple of jugs of syrup, wasn't always the most sanitary of conditions. you should have seen us making the chili.

it wouldn't bother me at all if he'd just write this in a post like everyone else on here does... but the fact he links a blog that he writes "professional style articles" is like saying "Hey, check out this awesome article I just wrote... nifty, huh? I'm pretty good at this sports writin' stuff... give me some good feedback" and I think it rubs people the wrong way... it's like he's wanting the satisfaction of knowing he's a good writer. Post the same material in an actual post, I bet it leads to some pretty damn good discussion and no one will give a **** about writing or grammar.

Some people make good points and the rest can't be taken serious because they are just hurling insults at each other. It's ironic people say you shouldn't be taken serious when they are grown men hiding behind user names cursing over the internet when most have real jobs and real families. But cursing and crap trying to prove they the king of a message board.

You did better on the pronouns with this article. A stronger way than simply using fewer would be to liven up your style by varying your sentence beginnings and structures more. That's a little harder. While you think about that, start correcting your punctuation errors before posting. Get a style book, such as Brief Holt or Little Brown, and use it to check your grammar. You've got to show some love for the language. It wouldn't hurt you to read and think about some good writing. Sports Illustrated and The New York Times are there for your eyes; stop ignoring them!
That being said, you have done a good job bringing a different perspective to the subject. The analysis is suspect, as shown by your ridiculous comment about Bumphis, but you have the right to do it. What I like are the interviews with former Bulldogs. By all means, finally, make yourself a good enough writer to justify continuing, because you should continue.

I actually do have a book called Writing well. It takes to to improve. I'm like a freshmen football player. Inconsistent but show flashes but still need to be more consistent. Like this guy said the only way to get better is by writing more to get command of the english language. I don't have the time on my hands to write like I want to. Some of these comments aren't as crazy as the fans want to think. It just goes against popular opinion. People say the Bumphis comment is ridiculous but what did he do this year. Where was he against LSU and Alabama. I'm not trying to be funny but seriously where was he.
