I hate it as much as most of you do, maybe more, but these ull bastards had it coming. in the end, om did what we could not and they deserved it. i wish it was not the case, but that is our reality.

the best thing i think we can take from this is that we need to improve on several levels. we need better slugging, better hitting up and down, and better pitching. opportunity missed this season, but as much as it sucks to say it, you gotta tip you hat to a team that did what we were incapable of doing.

the cws is stacked, so i dont think we have to worry too much, but the streak had to end sooner or later and we should all temper our vitriol, point and laugh at the cajuns, and move on.

ULL likely would not have had that record had they played a complete SEC schedule. ULL had some players, but not one of them struck fear in me. (AJ Reed, Beede, Nola, etc.)

I guess it'll be another 14 years before we see them again.

its as if ull stole all the in-state talent. i am certainly in support of that. with the ull lineup and the lsu pitching, that is a national championship combo. i guess we can all celebrate the fact that a 4 year generation of lsu hitters are playing ball at ull.
