I need to step it up. I've been here that long (regardless of join date settings) and I'm not even at 5k posts yet.

Thanks for everything tho, DS.

Does that include Yuki (whatever that was called) and the board before that?

Been a fun place over the years and a lot of quality football talk.

Thanks.

There has got to be some sort of story behind Goat

something that would sound sensationalized but would actually be 100% true. I feel there is some entertainment gold waiting to be unlocked, possibly developing into a TV miniseries.

Thanks for the site DS. Been largely lurking here since Jackie's last year...

My first post was after "the Maine". Started as Trainwreckdog, but got purged in HD's first ethnic cleansing. Came back as Resolved later. As if anyone gives a ****. Anyway, keep it going...

Thank you, DS. As a die-hard MSU Bulldog in UGA country, I don't know how I didn't stumble across this sooner. This site has been invaluable to me. Like most that have posted in this thread, I read a lot before I ever posted. Had a different user name at one time, and completely forgot it.

Keep up the good work. Again, thank you.

ETA: Apparently I still haven't figured out how to correctly reply.

I know everyone has a "I got banned on Jeanspage" story, but I'll never forget mine. After the 99 Egg Bowl, a moderator got upset with all the "CJ Sirmones wide open" posts and told everyone to stop it. After a pause, someone meekly posted "but he was wide open!" Then the next post: "At the 15 yard line!" I was one of those. Wish someone could pull it up from the interweb graveyard.

Poster child example for why I love this site.

It's crazy to think

about all that's changed not only w this board, since then, but in life (too). I was just a 19 year old freshman then.

+1 to both of you. I've posted in this thread already, but I've got to hand it to you, DS, for being able to stay above the fray. Business decisions or not, you've bitten your tongue in places where I'm not sure I would have been able to.

Thanks for filling 50% of my time on the Internet for almost a decade now. It'd be interesting to see which 5 websites I've visited the most since I discovered SPS. My bet is this is #1, YouTube #2, ESPN #3, Google #4 and Wiki #5. Maybe PornHub**
