Preacher, forgive me for being negative but the thought that kept going through my mind (after some of the dumb assed base running decisions) in the late innings was if we win this game it'll be in spite of these dumb 17 coaches. Right or wrong this weekend will determine the near future (coaching wise) of State baseball IMO.
After the base running error in the 8th when we had what looked like a sure score when it was hit against the right field wall, the TV panned Coach Lem in the dugout and he was visibly upset that our runner wasn't given the green light on that play. Shows that the head coach can't always control all the action on the field. Just sayin'.....
