Yet another national/continental title for MSU

This one is in the North American Collegiate Weather Forecasting Competition. Cumulative results are shown here:

MSU has finished second for several consecutive years, but they dominated the competition this year. Scroll down the results page until you see the individual scores. "MSS" is for Mississippi State, and you can see that 12 of the top 14 forecasters were from MSU. Even more impressive is that there were more than 1600 participants and 45 university teams.

I know at least a couple of the team members are SixPackers. Would not surprise me if they are the ones with user names of "Gator1", "PENNST", or "Bama12".

you would think the National Center for Atmospheric Research team would be a juggernaut in this competition, but they finished 7th. That has to hurt.
