Someone was posting this on another thread. Can one of you stat guys (I am not) post a link to where I can see proof to this? Now that I think about it, I'm not too suprised but we have to be the only D1 team yet to kick the mother %$!##** ball into the end zone.

Make it stop please........

with 2.1 seconds of hang time just ticks me off. But I guess that's "doing it the right way."

I could live with a fair catch at the 20 or 25 yard line, but Carlson can't even get enough air under it for that.

Not only have our opponents not had a touchback, but our kickers haven't even kicked it far enough to reach the endzone in 32 tries. We haven't even given our opponents the opportunity to accept a touchback on a kickoff.

We've kicked the ball out of bounds more times on the kickoff (2) than we've actually kicked the ball into the endzone.

We average 57.8 yards on kickoffs. Our kickers can only manage to AVERAGE to put it on the 12 yard line.

Ugh... I'll stop there.

I can't wait to see what we finish out with for punting yards. Expect at least to add 8 more minimum on Saturday-2 per quarter.

It's not like we get to kickoff very often. 32 times compared to league-leading FLA's 70! Carlson's poor little leg just hasn't had the opportunity to get stronger yet. Give him some time.</p>

our team has no room for kickers to screw things up, yet we have a guy that even can't kick off right. of all the things to screw up, the freaking soccer boy that simply boots the damn ball. embarassing
