file:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/trd59/LOCALS%7E1/Temp/moz-screenshot.pngHere are the matchups this year:

AFC Wild Card Games:
1. Broncos v. Steelers
2. Texans v. Bengals

Next weekend:
Patriots v. Winner of Game 1
Ravens v. Winner of Game 2

NFC Wild Card Games:
1. Giants v. Falcons
2. Saints v. Lions

Next Weekend:
Packers v. Winner of Game 1
49ers v. Winner of Game 2

Predictions:
I'm calling a battle of the Tight Ends in the Super Bowl... Saints v. Patriots with the Saints winning. Too much Drew Brees and Jimmy Graham throughout the playoffs and with a better pass defense than the Patriots, the Saints will take control of the game in the 4th to win it.

Of course I want the Saints to win it, but having to go through a a very tough NFC with only one guaranteed home game makes it unlikely. Especially considering one of those aways games would be at Green Bay.

The Saints fan in me says they will win it all, but the objective side of me says the Superbowl will be Green Bay vs. Baltimore, with Green Bay repeating. </p>

The first seed is always the most dangerous, and I was shocked 2 years ago when the Saints won as a 1 seed because it doesn't happen often. I think if any team can beat the Packers, the Giants can because of the running tandem. They almost beat them a few weeks ago if they hadn't given up the winning field goal in 4 plays. If it comes to Giants v. Packers, that game will be awesome.

They are Giants-Lite... who they beat at home by 6 points in the middle of the season. Their biggest wins were by 3 over a Cowboys team that doesn't know the game lasts for 4 quarters, the Giants (back during the Giant's slump), and the Steelers with a quarterback who couldn't stand on his left leg. They lost to the Cardinals 4 weeks ago and barely beat the Seahawks 2 weeks ago. They also haven't played the Packers, Falcons, or Saints. The Saints can take care of the Niners if they don't pull a game like they had against the Rams or Bucs.

Edit* Don't know if the Packers will win 2 over the Saints, but the Giants have a good chance of beating them. If the Giants can take care of the Falcons, I like their chances of knocking off the Packers since they almost did a few weeks ago.

Technically, the 1 seed plays the lowest remaining seed and the 2 seed plays the highest remaining seed, not the winner of specific games, but that's a side note.

On the subject, I still like Green Bay over Baltimore.

Someone said the Giants could pull the road upset on Green Bay. That's assuming they actually beat Atlanta, which is doable in NY. That's a possibility, and to me that's New Orleans's best bet.

New Orleans can beat San Francisco by the bay, but if they can get the Giants at home in the Superdome for the NFC title, they'll be in the Super Bowl and likely win it.

I agree. If the G-men can get by the Falcons, they have a great shot to take out the Packers.

if the giants or falcons beat the packers, we wouldn't have to go to Green Bay would we?

Green Bay has oline problems and their d isn't that good
The giants are hot as hell right now, i could easily see them beating the packers

I couldsee the Giants beating the Packers, and if the Saints beat the 49ers, hosting the Giants in the Dome for the NFC Champ.

To me it goes in this order:
Good chance to win it all:
1. Packers - Aaron Rodgers + they force a lot of turnovers on Def.
2. Patriots - Brady + Belichick
3. Ravens - How is no one mentioning them? Only AFC team to have not lost to any of the other playoff teams. Also, Ray Rice is a beast.
4. Saints - Drew Brees + Sean Peyton
5. Steelers - Same old Steelers. Number 1 Defense in points allowed.
6. 49ers - All about Defense. 2nd in points allowed, 2nd in Int, 1st in Fum Rec

Little chance to win it all:
7. Giants - they could be heating up like in '07.
8. Lions - Lost to Matt Flynn
9. Texans - Schaub injury was just devastating.
10. Falcons - Good team, but no way they can hang with the rest of these guys
11. Bengals - 3rd in their own division. Impressive that they even made the playoffs, but they won't go too far.
12. Broncos - Miracles do happen. Just ask the Giants

...but I'll go for broke and pick the Lions. They might not have to face a tough run game at all (their major weakness). If they managed an upset in New Orleans I could see them shocking the Pack in round 2 (ala Giants over undefeated Patriots).
