in NO. Enough said if it is Okla State. If Okla wins they will jump up over Bama, with one loss, they will have won their conference.

You can take that to the bank. Since Oregon got smacked by LSU already computers will screw them if they win their conference. After Auburn getting smacked this weekend, computers won't give Bama any love for the win. I'm not sure LSU
will win out. The question is? What happens if LSU was to loose the SEC Conf Championship game. Would BAMA go?

That loss is getting worse and worse every week as Tech keeps getting spanked by the rest of the Big 12. Oklahoma won't be in NO unless every other team in the nation has 2 losses.

Conference championship has NOTHING to do with playing in the BCS championship game. It's NOT in the rules. Oklahoma does not get an automatic pass to leap Bama just because they won a conference championship, ESPECIALLY one without a title game.

and they will make EVERY effort to get a conference champ in the title game, and I agree they should. No way Bama should get the advantage of NOT playing in the SEC title game, getting to lose at home to LSU, then getting a rematch where a split would get them the national title and that same split gets LSU nothing. Not gonna happen.

of love early in the season and the current BCS ratings will probably be LSU, Okla State, Bama, Sooners. The coaches have already put them back up with the loss so I would expect it would come down on what public wants to see. Damn Ducks win out and win their conference they will have something to say about it also. All I know is we don't have to worry about Boise or Stanford.....

LSU jumped 2 one loss teams... Kansas and West 17ing Virginia. Why? Because they won their Conference Championship. Missouri's second loss came in their championship game, but had the same overall record as LSU. Their losses also came to a top 10 Oklahoma team twice. Ohio State got in because they had one loss, even though they didn't play a conference championship (and the fact they are Ohio State). Had they had 2 losses, I would bet Missouri gets in over them. 2007 shows that winning a conference championship game has EVERYTHING to do with making it to the BCSNCG.

LSU jumped 2 one loss teams... Kansas and West 17ing Virginia. Why? Because they won their Conference Championship they're in the SEC and Kansas & WVU aren't. Not to mention that if Oklahoma beats Oklahoma St., they won't win their conference outright anyway. They'd share the title with OSU. I think this isa case where not having a conference championship game is going to hurt the Big 12 instead of help it like they intended (if OU beats OSU, if OSU wins then it does help them).</p>

So a share of a championship in a weak Big 12 with no title game is more prestigious than what Bama's done? If Oklahoma beats Ok State, that's well and good but it still doesn't overcome the sting of that pathetic home loss to a Texas Tech team that has gone winless and given up about 150 points since that game.
