There is a thread on tigerdroppings about where they feel they can hire Hudspeth away from ULL. They are talking about paying 3.5 million per year for 4 years. If they hire Hudspeth and pay him that kind of money, they are fools.

it's not like every good program in the country who will be without a coach is knocking his door down to hire him. 3.5 would be totally idiotic.

A coach but we won't pay it just to pay it. Hudspeth, freeze wouldn't get nearly that obviously

They'll pay right at 2 for Eddie Gran, Rick Biasucci or Hugh Freeze.

Book it.

than they will with what is popularly called an experienced head coach.

Those guys are hungry to prove themselves on the big stage. Leach, and company know they are just looking for the big payday to retire with.

UM figures out a way to get a big name coordinator from a successful school like Oklahoma did with Stoops or even one from the NFL, you will make the splash you need to.

I just dont think their first year is going to be memorable. If that is the case, and you've paid 3.5 mil to 4 mil on top of the Nutt buyout, it's going to create even more dissention in year two.
