Pyongyang, North Korea (CNN) -- CNN has confirmed that South Korea has faxed a second response to North Korea’s threat of military action. In this new fax, South Korea states, “The people of South Korea will not be intimidated by the hatred and aggression of North Korea. We have always viewed China as our one true military threat and regional rival, and frankly we don’t spend much time worrying about you poor farmers and your comical leader.”
When this fax was read on North Korean radio, the people of North Korea immediately took to the streets, wailing and screaming and cutting themselves, cries of torment and gnashing of teeth echoing over the entire countryside, their tears of self-pity converging into a powerful river which threatens to level several cities. Experts expect this period of mourning to continue for the foreseeable future.
