You have to sit Renfroe next game no matter what.

Why? He's still an above average defensive player and still commands respect at the plate. If anything you swap him and Rea a game.

We need him to get right. Giving him a day off to clear his head could do the trick. You sit him, not because he's hurting us, but because he could carry us. Of course, Bradford being out doesn't make it easy to sit him.

Are you people <17>n' crazy. If you really want to mess with his head, then yeah sit him. No one ever got out of a slump by not batting. Spoken like a bunch of folks that never played.

Or find a fat chick tonight.
Did you just catch that throw from CF to first base to catch the runner with the lead off? He could bat .240 and still play because of his defense. Guy can troll the outfield and beat you from anywhere with his arm.

If pure offense was the only qualification to start Henderson and Rea would have been on the bench a long time ago, and Pirtle wouldn't be in the lineup after his first 3 weeks of the season.

He will come around. This is baseball streaks and slumps happen. He's too talented to stay in this slump for long.

Some one with some sense....

we need Renfroe to break out of it, not out of the lineup.

Ok, I agree lets give him Friday off.

Can't sit him, change him in order and take some if the pressure of. He is too good in the field to sit.

Agreed. Move him to number 5 in the order and move Rea down to 7. See if they can work with a little less pressure to start a game, then maybe relax and try to hit everything. That was what Renfroe tried to do in that last at bat. Just relax and try to hit it through the 4 hole. Didn't work, but a better at bat as he saw 6 pitches and didn't chase any dirt balls.

If we had been playing Mississippi, their stupid fans would be yelling for their own pitcher to "throw it in the dirt...dirt!" because Renfroe and Rea love to go after them kind.**

You do realize that Cohen doesn't make lineup decisions based on our input, right? Calm down. 95% of what is said on here is spoken like a bunch of folks that never played.

I kinda like the Joe Maddon approach and put him as the leadoff hitter to get out of the slump but it's too late in the season now for that and moving Frazier might cool him off so leave it as is and hope he comes out of it. Still a great defender and with our bullpen going 43 scoreless innings in a row he doesn't need to carry the team. The pitching is already doing that.

Crazy to sit him, especially with CT probably out (I figure Cohen is going to sit him the rest of the tournament just to be safe). Move him to 7th in the order, but he's got to play.
