would’ve been interesting to see what Jaden Jones would’ve done this year…Montez Mathis. First time I’ve really missed him.

This is the dumbest comment I’ve ever seen.I bet if you asked Cliff, he thinks he's better than Zach Edey. Well, we need him to deliver more then.
Very intelligent post. This is the dumbest comment I’ve ever seen.
You talking about intelligence after that comment you just posted is hilarious.Very intelligent post.
A Coach. One who doesn't let the players decide how they are going to play.…Montez Mathis. First time I’ve really missed him.
BrilliantYou talking about intelligence after that comment you just posted is hilarious.
More athletic doesn't mean better. Edey is a national player of the year candidateI bet if you asked Cliff, he thinks he's better than Zach Edey. Well, we need him to deliver more then.
He just posts nonsense non stopThis is the dumbest comment I’ve ever seen.
Yes a head case on team who thinks he's NBA level out of high school is what we need.would’ve been interesting to see what Jaden Jones would’ve done this year
Sorry. I agree but the offense has regressed badly. . So has rebounding. And lately the defense. This is a over achieving team that is playing to its porential which means strong defense and mediocre offense. Its also a very experienced team that is shown on defense. The lack of shooting skills is shown on offense.Pikiell has done a terrific job achieving nine league wins and with a little luck additional wins can happen.
Especially the way he looks now - he'd be first team all B1GIf we could pick a recent player to add to the current roster, I'd take Ron Harper Jr.
I don’t think the current version of Mag will help very muchCan we have Mag
That's actually a good take since we need help at the 4 without MagDo we get the current version of our player? I know this is blasphemy around here but I’d take Eugene O
So you agree that Pike benched Hyatt, but don’t think it was effective because he didn’t scream at him while doing so? And that’s the one thing you think were missing? We are starting Oskar Palmquist.A Coach. One who doesn't let the players decide how they are going to play.
Letting Paul decide he's going to focus on stupid passes vs. scoring points that are there.
Setting up Cliff to take shots he can't make and not making him pass out of double teams..early.
Making Hyatt drive vs. settle for jacking up threes.. then putting his *** on the bench cause he he jacked up threes vs. getting in his face and demanding better.
Just being a coach who can make a difference on both ends of the court. The job is to recruit, game plan, motivate, and make a difference on both ends. Not being able to figure out how to score points and run an offense with what you have is a flaw. It's his job to adjust and maximize his players. He is failing there in my opinion.
I said that he should have grabbed Hyatt then got in his face telling him to drive to the rim and not just jack up threes. Hyatt played 28 mins and took 5 shots of which 4 were threes and the other one that classic missed layup..right? He didn't drive (EFFECTIVELY) once! (Thanks Scagg) Do you know what he did vs. Wisky from 2? 4-7. Nebby? 3-7.So you agree that Pike benched Hyatt, but don’t think it was effective because he didn’t scream at him while doing so? The 76 team had an offensive mindset and just might kick this team's *** on the offensive side. Old farts or not lol. They'd pick Paul's hands while dribbling, Eddie was a better defender than Caleb, James could actually make turn-around baskets and not just dunk (which they weren't allowed to do in 76), and they had a fracken bench. Oh and no 3 point line. And the 76 team is kinda old by now
I would love to see Michael Jordan at 26 years old ball for RU tomorrow against good ol PSUMore athletic doesn't mean better. Edey is a national player of the year candidate
He just posts
While it would be nice to get the win I would be kind of concerned about the possible breakdown of the space/time continuum.I would love to see Michael Jordan at 26 years old ball for RU tomorrow against good ol PSU
Hyatt passed up a WIDE OPEN 3 and tried to drive and committed a chargeI said that he should have grabbed Hyatt then got in his face telling him to drive to the rim and not just jack up threes. What does starting Oskar have anything to do with how Hyatt played vs. UM?
Hey @fluoxetine of course that was tongue in cheek but not entirely false. Did you see them play? The 76 team had an offensive mindset and just might kick this team's *** on the offensive side. Maybe a "pickem "![]()
I've seen some videos about them but I wasn't born at the time, no.Hey @fluoxetine of course that was tongue in cheek but not entirely false. Did you see them play?
so?Hyatt passed up a WIDE OPEN 3 and tried to drive and committed a charge
So you said Hyatt didn't drive once. I responded giving an example of him trying to drive
oh screw you kid lol.I've seen some videos about them but I wasn't born at the time, no.
ok, sorry. you got me there. I footnoted youSo you said Hyatt didn't drive once. I responded giving an example of him trying to drive
I agree but there are bad ones and good one's. Hyatt was going to hurt somebody with those misses. It's always the same story. When you suck from outside get closer, make a shot, then move back.Telling people not to jack up threes is the last thing Pike should be doing. We cause ourselves a lot of problems by not taking ones we should be taking. I'll live with a couple bad ones from Caleb and Hyatt if we can get people pulling the trigger more freely in general.
Well, yeah, those were especially badI agree but there are bad ones and good one's. Hyatt was going to hurt somebody with those misses. It's always the same story. When you suck from outside get closer, make a shot, then move back.
Your answer to the question was that Pike was the one thing you would change. I mentioned Oskar as proof that there are bigger issues than our fantastic coach. As proven today. Make sense?I said that he should have grabbed Hyatt then got in his face telling him to drive to the rim and not just jack up threes. huh? this is part of what I said..Your answer to the question was that Pike was the one thing you would change. I mentioned Oskar as proof that there are bigger issues than our fantastic coach. As proven today. Make sense?
