15 years ago my wife was a full time nanny for a family here in Memphis (4 little girls). The Mom was from Canada. Long story short, ole gtowndawg (the 19 year old version) use to give the girls State stuff since they had no real college affiliation. Well, the family moved back to Canada about 6 years ago but I found out today the 2nd oldest girl applied and was accepted to State. She's never even step foot on campus but she's loved State ever since I gave her tshirts back in the day. She plans on going to vet school and she starts this fall.

And get this, she is a part time radio DJ and the day we won the Egg Bowl she mentioned it on the air during the sports segment for all of Saskatchewan to enjoy. And yes, only two categories were covered that day...hockey and State.

I did the same thing with my two nieces in the hopes that they will be State fans. The indoctrination of youth continues!
