Young OC or DC from major P5 school or successful HC from mid major?

Schiano was a young up and coming DC from a major P5 school who learned under a proven winner Butch Davis. These OC and DC guys from Ohio State fit that mold also. There's also proven winners in the MAC and other mid level leagues. Pick your poison, what's your preference?

Kind of disingenuous to add Fitzgerald and Ferentz as named coaches years/decades ago ago. All recent coaches have had head coaching experience. Minnesota obviously different.
