You're now Collins. How do you stop aTm?

I'm no Xs and Os guru, but I feel like the key is going to be more about getting consistent pressure on Hill as opposed to having more coverage in the secondary. If Hill has time, he's good enough to find someone no matter how many guys we have back there.

There is a reason I setup tailgate tents instead of coach football, but I think our only hope defensively is shaking hill up in a big way early on. We need to sack him hard multiple times early in the game.

If A&M catches a rhythm on offense, i doubt we win.

That's an easy one.

I'd bring pressure with a five-man front, protect the middle with an extra mike linebacker and play nickel coverage in the secondary.

Simple really.

1. Even with their dynamic passing game, number 1 priority will be stopping the run. Always will be. Make them one dimensional, and that one dimension is easier to stop/limit.
2. Keep a safety over the top always. No big plays. Make them put together drives and then stop them in red zone. Our red zone defense has been elite (top 5 in nation I believe).
3. We will mix coverages, but regardless of what coverage we are in, we must be the more physical team. Physically impose our will and push them around and we win.

Pressure up themiddle. Blitz A gaps. DEs play 4 technique, block quick passing lanes. If we sack Hill, it's more likely out of the pocket. Off man coverage. Sumlin doesn't call many timing routes, no reason to press.

Get ahead. Keep receivers out of the middle of the field, maybe play a robber. Make TAMU throw short because they aren't patient enough like 2 years ago.
