They didn't sell 1000 advance tickets in Tallahassee, and it was canceled about 2 weeks before due to poor ticket sales.

or whatever year it was. What I heard was The Stones' management offered to do a show at DWS, guaranteeing $1,000,000.

LT and brass said no because the trucks driving onto the field would destroy the drainage system.

Now if that couldn't have boosted Music Makers' budget, I don't know what would.

And if I'm not mistaken, a couple of rainy days and unable to relocate indoors really hurt back in the day.

And to add some sports into this, WWE wanted to broadcast Monday Night RAW on campus (back when it was good) but The Hump brass said no. Although, we almost got a WCW taping of Thunder in the Tin Gym.

They opened for Dave in DC last summer. I'm not a country music fan at all, but they were decent. Talented musicians. Should draw a good crowd in Starkville.

All you conservative sweethearts who love his hits on the radio know this: they're a little loose live. At the show I went to, they closed with a Rage Against the Machine cover and Zac Brown screamed 17 about twenty times. The crowd went nuts, but those that had showed up just to see ZBB were shocked. Maybe it was just for such a huge show...

I'll scratch my head to good music all night before I pay 30 bucks to see the zac brown band. I'm all for stimulating the economy but I won't pay that much money to see an average band. Don't act like this is a "party" because a well known band is coming. The Zac Brown Band is a terrible excuse for a party and if 50 thousand people show up then I'll be impressed.
