I'm saying that Mamdani is much more popular with young adults than Donald Trump and their lives are hard enough right now with the high cost of living and the difficulty of finding jobs after they graduate, so if he makes their lives even harder by defunding the city, he's just going to drive them harder left and into Mamdani's camp for the rest of his term. The vengeful moron has already defunded the badly needed Gateway project so he better start showing that he cares about the people that overwhelmingly voted for Mamdani or risk losing the youth vote long-term.

New York has been lost for the moment as too common sense

50 per cent of New Yorkers voted against Mamdani in the two candidates

Forget Trump TALK ABOUT POLICIES

The policies Mamdani is advocating for is immediately going to send NYC into a spiral

Costs are going to spiral and businesses are going to close

Affluent citizens are going to vote with their feet

Govenor Houchel has a huge problem on her hands

His challenge at President Trump is laughable

Biting the hand that feeds NYC

Civility and Compromise if he wants to be successful

I look forward to seeing the results of the election in 12 months

We can talk then if not before

I've seen this story many times. People find the negatives based on what is normally common sense. But remember, all of a sudden Mamdani is the face not just of NYC, but also the democrat party. They can't let him outwardly fail, because the inference is that they too will fail in their governance. So, expect democrats to pump up NYC as much as they can and if they take control of either house or Senate, they can influence the funding going to NYC. At the same time, expect the media to double down on their portrayal of Mamdani policies as helping the citizens of NY and blaming every failure on Trump or the state failing to approve what the citizens voted for.
I wouldn't discount Mamdani

Totally agree. It's hard to run against the word FREE. Although i see he is already backtracking on those promises.

I always get a kick out of the rednecks who never stepped foot out of Pickens County being very worried about NY and CA.
As someone who lives in Philly/NYC, I never understood this either. The only explanation I can think of is that they are bored or don't have a life....lol.. I could careless about what happens in Nebraska or Louisiana.
