Do you think the zoom call is to gauge interest from the player and to get a feel for fit with culture? Seems like they are zooming with a lot of guys. Feels like it may just be a first step for all likely recruits and not a, "we are high on this person" indicator.

Yes. Also the quickest path to getting the HC in front of a kid. Build the relationship and connect early and often.

I think it is same with home visit...

Show interest at first...

Offer is another thing (although most home visit will be accompanied with offers)...

I think the lawsuits that resulted in the transfer portal were all orchestrated by Zoom because all we hear about now is Zoom call this, and Zoom call that. This was clearly a ploy to increase the market share and public awareness of their product.
