During his time at Alabama, Nick Saban has loved to bring in guest speakers for his program. Some of the world’s most renowned athletes and personalities have made their way to Tuscaloosa, speaking to the Crimson Tide on a yearly basis.

The latest was America’s favorite sports storyteller, Tom Rinaldi. The former ESPN reporter and now on Fox, Rinaldi has been on college football morning pregame shows for years, telling some of the most compelling stories throughout the sport.

Now, he had the opportunity to do so in front of the entire Alabama team. Rinaldi also got some personal time with Saban, with the two pictured meeting in the head coach’s office.

You can check out all the photos the official Alabama Football Twitter account posted here.

Rinaldi will most likely get to work one Alabama game this season, with their premier nonconference matchup against Texas being broadcasted on Fox. Big Noon Kickoff will pick the game up, meaning Rinaldi will get to produce a few packages during the pregame show.

At the very least, the reporter got a sneak preview of what the Crimson Tide will look like come Sept. 10.

Alabama brings in star-studded group of guest speakers

Rinaldi is not the only star to travel to Tuscaloosa this offseason. Tony Robbins spoke to Alabama just a few days ago, while Olympian Michael Phelps has also made an appearance with Larry Fitzgerald featuring as well. In what could be a long fall camp for the Crismon Tide, taking time to listen to an outside speaker can be a good way to receive a different message.

With there still being a couple of weeks until the regular season, Saban will undoubtedly bring in a couple of more guests to motivate his team. Coming off a national championship loss, all of the inspiration Alabama can get, they’ll take.
