Alabama offers 2025 top-60 QB George MacIntyre

Brentwood (Tenn.) Brentwood Academy four-star quarterback George MacIntyre received an offer from Alabama and their new Offensive Coordinator Tommy Rees Saturday. He announced the news on Twitter.
MacIntyre is the No. 55 overall prospect and No. 5 quarterback in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in Tennessee.
“Coach Rees is an offensive genius that I believe will do great there,” MacIntyre told On3. “Alabama is Alabama. Their track record speaks for itself. The two paired together make Tuscaloosa very appealing and the opportunity to play for Coach Saban is very special.”
Of the multiple visits MacIntyre plans to take during the spring, Alabama is also on that list.
The 6-foot-5, 180-pound MacIntyre holds 19 Power Five offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Vanderbilt has a narrow lead over Tennessee to land a commitment from MacIntyre.
January was a huge month for MacIntyre as took another trip to Tennessee and picked up 14 different offers. His last in the month came on Jan. 31 from LSU.

MacIntyre talked to The Bengal Tigers’ Billy Embody about that offer and also told him that he will be visiting Baton Rouge on March 24.
“It’s definitely cool to have! They have been recruiting me for a while now and to now have an official opportunity to play there is great,” MacIntyre told On3. “I think it’s cool that their offense adapts to their quarterback’s strengths. I like the difference when (Garrett) Nussmeier was in and (Jayden) Daniels.”

Alabama currently has one commitment in its 2025 class in four-star wide receiver Ryan Williams. The Crimson Tide also have four commitments in their 2024 recruiting class.
MacIntyre currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $63K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
George MacIntyre Scouting Summary
The following is an On3 Scouting Report on George MacIntyre:
“Tall, strong-armed passer who looks like one of the top quarterback prospects in the 2025 cycle early on. Has a slender build, checking in around 6-foot-5, 180-pounds. Flashes a quick, tight throwing motion with the ability to drive the ball downfield with ease. Comfortable delivering to multiple levels of the field from within the pocket or outside of structure. Capable of placing high-level throws into tight windows. More of a pass-first quarterback, but shows encouraging pocket movement and improvisational skills as a first-year varsity starter. Posted an efficient sophomore season while playing against good competition. Doubles as a top basketball player with Power 5 offers on the hardwood. Will need to continue adding mass and strength to his frame. Projects as one of the top 2025 quarterback prospect.”s
