After rankings updates across the industry, Eufaula (Ala.) EDGE and Alabama commit <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/yhonzae-pierre-122360/">Yhonzae Pierre</a> moved from No. 103 to No. 82 in the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average.



His 31-spot jump was one of the more significant moves in the entire country among senior prospects after a pair of other recruiting services released new rankings.



According to the <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/yhonzae-pierre-122360/industry-comparison/">Industry Comparison</a>, On3 remains the highest of any recruiting service on Pierre, who was tabbed as the country’s No. 59 overall prospect and No. 10 EDGE in the most recent <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/rankings/player/football/2023/">2023 On300 rankings</a>.

“Twitchy pass rusher with a high-end first step and violent finishing ability behind the line of scrimmage. Shows the ability to burst off the snap. Gets into the backfield quickly due to his initial burst. Capable of redirecting at the line of scrimmage. Shows early signs of a budding arsenal of pass rush maneuvers, including a spin and up and under move. Shows outstanding closing speed. Finishes with physicality and levies out some big hits behind the line of scrimmage. Should continue adding power to his game as he gets stronger at the next level. Frame and size look to be average for the position. Can continue increasing his production as a senior. Projects as a high-energy, disruptive outside pass rusher at the next level.”
