Jordyn Tyson injury update: Kenny Dillingham delivers unfortunate news on Arizona State WR

Arizona State will be without one of its key offensive weapons in the Big 12 Championship Game against Iowa State, with coach Kenny Dillingham confirming receiver Jordyn Tyson underwent surgery on Tuesday.
SunDevilSource.com’s Chris Karpman reported the news, noting that Dillingham said Tyson will be out for the season.
“We’re looking forward to getting him back next year,” Dillingham said.
Jordyn Tyson has been unstoppable at times for the Sun Devils. He has put together five 100-yard receiving games, totaling 75 catches for 1,101 yards and 109 touchdowns on the season. That kind of production will be sorely missed as Arizona State competes for a College Football Playoff berth.
Prior to joining Arizona State, Tyson had one productive season at Colorado in 2022.
While with the Buffaloes, Jordyn Tyson recorded 22 catches for 470 yards and four touchdowns, impressive production for a true freshman.
