Arizona State transfer OL Keona Peat, brother of Raiders OL Andrus Peat, signs with Arizona

Former Arizona State offensive lineman Keona Peat signed with Arizona out of the NCAA transfer portal per On3’s Pete Nakos. He is the brother of Las Vegas Raiders OL Andrus Peat.
Peat does not have registered game time for 2024 but injuries forced him into action as a true freshman in 2023. He made an appearance in a game against Utah.
As a member of the Class of 2022, Keona Peat was not ranked, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He played his high school football at Corona Del Sol out of Tempe (Ari.)

Keona Peat signs with Arizona out of portal
Although Arizona landed a new offensive lineman in Peat out of the transfer portal, they lost some defensive depth. DL Isaiah Johnson committed to North Carolina and Bill Belichick.
Johnson will be a redshirt junior this fall for Belichick’s Tar Heels. He played two seasons for the Wildcats, and three overall. He was most productive in 2024, appearing in 10 games for Arizona while logging nine tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and a QB hurry. In 2023, he appeared in two games after redshirting the previous year.
Before college, Johnson was a three-star recruit according to the On3 Industry Rankings, which is a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services. He was the No. 1,356 overall recruit in the 2022 class, as well as the No. 144 player at his position.
