LOOK: Arkansas baseball trolls Texas with 'Horns Down' graphic after win

This year’s College Baseball Showdown featured a clash of two of the nation’s top programs: the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Texas Longhorns. Arkansas was able to hang on and defeat Texas 3-2 in a game that featured a little bit of controversy. Regardless of that, a win is a win, and the Razorbacks took to social media to celebrate their victory over their former Southwest conference rival.
From the Arkansas Baseball Twitter account, the Hogs posted the always disrespectful hand gesture for any Longhorns rival, the ‘Horns Down.’
After defeating Texas on Friday, Arkansas has two more games against quality opponents out of the Big 12. On Saturday night, they will take on the No. 15 ranked TCU Horned Frogs. And that contest will be followed by a Sunday afternoon showdown with the No. 9 ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys at 2:30 PM CT.

In the sixth inning, Dylan Campbell was at the plate with a 2-2 count. Apparently, he took too long to get ready for the next pitch, and the umpire called a strike, in accordance with the new rule. Because he had two strikes on him already, that was strike three to end the at-bat — and the inning.
The Arkansas baseball Twitter account didn’t hold back, either.
“Get in the box or get on out,” the tweet read.
The new rules start this season and are intended to help with pace of play in college baseball. According to the rule, there’s a 20-second clock in effect. If the pitcher takes too long, it results in a ball. If the batter violates the clock, a strike is added to the count.
At the time, the game was tied 0-0. Arkansas wound up winning the game 3-2 at Globe Life Field, home of the Texas Rangers.
