One of the top defensive prospects in the 2025 class will be in Death Valley next weekend. Buford (Ga.) four-star linebacker Jadon Perlotte announced Sunday that he will be at Clemson for the Tigers’ top-10 matchup against NC State.

Perlotte is the No. 35 overall prospect and No. 3 linebacker in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 6 player in Georgia.

The 6-foot-3, 200 pound prospect has received 27 offers. He was at Oklahoma on Sept. 24.

Clemson is currently making inroads on the recruiting front. Even though the Tigers have no commitments in their 2024 and 2025 recruiting class, Clemson’s 2023 class ranks No. 8 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 1 in the ACC.

Perlotte has an On3 NIL Valuation of $67K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
