Deion Sanders calls for Shedeur Sanders to capitalize on watch celebration vs. Arizona State

Shedeur Sanders enjoyed Saturday’s road win against Arizona State, immediately heading to the student section to celebrate. He decided to show off his wrist as well, wearing a watch and showing it off to the crowd. The moment went viral on social media and got plenty of attention.
Now, Deion Sanders wants Shedeur to capitalize on the moment and potentially get him a new watch to wear via a NIL deal. If this much attention is going to be on his postgame celebration, why not get a brand to dish out a few dollars to be the watch he wears during his postgame celebration?
“We’ve just got to get him a lucrative watch deal,” Deion Sanders said on Tuesday. “He can’t keep doing it for free. We got to capitalize. He is my son. We gotta capitalize on the moment, right?”
Deion went on to dub the celebration, saying “The Shedeur” is now its official name.
The celebration was a justified one for Sanders, feeling himself following the game-winning field goal, a huge one for Colorado. He led the Buffaloes down the field in the final minutes and set them up with the opportunity to win. It comes off the backs of consecutive losses to Oregon and USC.

Now, Coach Prime wants an NIL deal to head his son’s way. Nobody has been a more attractive college football program this season than Colorado, with the numbers backing it up. Even when the Buffaloes are not playing on national television, moments like “The Shedeur” are gaining tons of eyeballs across social media platforms.
Sanders is viewed as one of the most valuable college athletes in there, having an On3 NIL Valuation of $4.8 million. The valuation is No. 2 in the On3 NIL 100, which is the first of its kind and defacto NIL ranking of the top 100 high school and college athletes ranked by their On3 NIL Valuation. The valuation also ranks No. 1 in college football.
We may get to see another celebration from Sanders on Friday, with Colorado back in front of the entire nation once again. Stanford will be coming to Boulder, with kickoff scheduled for 8 p.m. local time. Crowds at Folsom Field have been fantastic thus far and should be once again for the Pac-12 matchup.
A win for Colorado and we may be seeing a nice, new, and fresh watch on Sanders’ wrist.
