Travis Hunter has had an eventful offseason, and the blessings continue to pour in for the Colorado Buffaloes star.

Throughout his time in college football, Hunter has connected with his fans in unique ways, including an active YouTube channel, where he sheds light on parts of his life outside of football. In the latest video uploaded to the channel, Hunter posted a special update involving his mother.

At just 20-years-old, the Buffaloes two-way star was able to purchase his mother her dream home. He shared a video of the moment to his channel, which you could check out below.

As you can see, it’s a wonderful experience Hunter will remember for the rest of his life, and his family will forever cherish. After all the talk of the detriments NIL has brought to college sports, this is certainly a positive on the other side of the argument, showing what Hunter has been able to accomplish.

Throughout his time in college football, Hunter has inked a myriad of different NIL deals. Recently, he’s even starred in one with his teammate Shedeur Sanders for Kentucky Fried Chicken, along with other agreements with companies like SoHoodie, FreeForm Sports and Squishmallows.

Moving forward, the future is bright for Travis Hunter, both on and off the football field. As Colorado enters the Big 12 in 2024, it’ll be fascinating to see how high his NFL Draft stock rises, but he’s enjoying life as a college athlete for now.

Travis Hunter gets engaged to longtime girlfriend Leanna Lenee

Moreover, this isn’t the first piece of big, personal news for Colorado Buffaloes star Travis Hunter this offseason. Another milestone included his recent engagement.

Leanna Lenee and Travis Hunter have been dating since he was in high school when the two met when he was a senior at Collins Hill High School in Suwanee, Georgia. In 2022, she graduated from Kennesaw State University. In February, Hunter announced the engagement on Instagram.

Travis Hunter and Leanna Lenee started their own YouTube channel in 2022, with the first post coming in October of that year. There, the couple shared information about their relationship and their individual lives. That first episode included the couple making Halloween costumes.

Even at that time, the couple was speaking about the possibility that they’d get married one day. Now, that day has come. In her own post announcing the engagement, Lenee wrote, “a million times, yes.”

Leanna Lenee is currently seeking a Master’s degree. Meanwhile, Travis Hunter continues to focus on his football career. 2024 will be his third college season and his second with Colorado after transferring from Jackson State when Deion Sanders took the job.
