Florida WR Dallas Wilson missed the start of his freshman season with a foot injury which he suffered during the preseason. Now, it’s confirmed that he’ll miss the remainder of it as well with another from this weekend.

Wilson suffered a foot injury that’ll be season-ending for him, as has now been confirmed by On3’s Pete Nakos as well as those at Gators Online. That comes out of the 24-20 loss on Saturday to No. 5 Georgia in up Jacksonville.

“Florida WR Dallas Wilson is done for the season, source tells @On3sports. @mzenitz first,” Nakos tweeted out this afternoon.

Wilson exited towards the end of the first half after taking a hit, which led to a review and ejection for targeting. He would then return to the sideline after halftime with a boot on his right foot, with him ruled out for the remainder of the game. With that, Wilson would leave the loss with that one seven-yard catch against the Bulldogs, on what’s now his final play of this fall for the Gators.

Wilson also suffered an initial foot injury back during fall camp in the first week of August. That would cost him the first month of his true freshman season, missing the first four games of the year for the team before their first bye week, as he didn’t appear until his college debut, making quite the impression in that first-ever game for him, in a win against Texas on October 4th.

In his four outings this season for Florida, Wilson finished with 12 receptions for 174 yards and three touchdowns. A majority of that came in that debut against the Longhorns, having six catches for 111 yards and two touchdowns in a 29-21 upset win in The Swamp.

Wilson, a Tampa native, was one of the top commitments in what was the No. 10 recruiting class in the country in 2025, which is now since the program’s final one under Billy Napier. He, a prospect out of Tampa Bay Tech, was the No. 41 overall recruit, also rated as being the No. 8 WR and the No. 5 player out of the state of Florida, and a four-star in his recruiting cycle. That’s per Rivals’ Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Little has gone right since the start of this season down in Gainesville. That includes for Wilson too, as he is sidelined again and is to miss the final four games of his first collegiate season with the Gators.
