2024 top-50 DL T.A. Cunningham reoffered by Georgia Tech

Los Alamitos (Calif.) four-star defensive lineman T.A. Cunningham was reoffered by Georgia Tech on Thursday night. He announced the news over social media.

Cunningham is the No. 38 overall prospect and No. 6 defensive lineman in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 3 player in California.

The 6-foot-6.5, 275-pound recruit holds 60 offers. He visited multiple schools this season, including Texas A&M and USC.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, it is a very tight race for his commitment. The Trojans are currently leading for Cunningham’s pledge at 16.1%.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college. 

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

Georgia Tech currently has one commitment in their 2024 recruiting class. Macon (Ga.) First Presbyterian Day School four-star quarterback Jakhari Williams, the No. 117 overall prospect in the 2024 On300, chose the Yellow Jackets on Nov. 21, 2022. Less than an hour before offering Cunningham, Georgia Tech offered Oklahoma City (Okla.) IMG Academy five-star defensive lineman David Stone, the No. 9 overall prospect in the On3 Consensus.

Cunningham has an On3 NIL Valuation of $100K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Will need to continue developing his technique and hands in disengaging from blocks and as a pass rusher.”
