Arizona State transfer guard Adam Miller commits to Gonzaga

Former Arizona State guard Adam Miller has committed to Gonzaga via the NCAA Transfer Portal. Miller spent two seasons with the Sun Devils.
Miller started in all 30 of his appearances for Arizona State this season. He averaged 9.8 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 29.8 minutes per game. The 6-foot-3 guard shot 44.9% from the field and 42.9% from beyond the arc.
Miller had his best performance of the season in ASU’s narrow loss to Texas Tech in double overtime. In the loss, Miller erupted for a season-high 22 points while shooting 10-17 from the floor.
Miller made 23 appearances and 21 starts in the 2023-24 season, his first at Arizona State. Before transferring to ASU, Miller spent two seasons at LSU, but he redshirted during one of them due to an ACL injury. While at LSU, he started in 33 games and averaged 11.5 points in 33 minutes per game, but was far less efficient.
Before transferring to LSU, Miller spent his true freshman season at Illinois. In his lone campaign with the Fighting Illini, Miller made 31 appearances and 29 starts. Miller averaged 8.3 points and 2.8 rebounds per game while shooting 39.1% from the field and 34.0% from deep.
Adam Miller played high school basketball at Morgan Park (IL), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 36 overall player and No. 8 shooting guard in the 2020 recruiting cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Miller won’t be the only fresh face on Gonzaga’s campus next season. The Bulldogs also reeled in a commitment from former Virginia guard Jalen Warley this offseason. Gonzaga has lost three players to the transfer portal this offseason.
Gonzaga head coach Mark Few is on the hunt for a standout season after having a relatively down year in the 2024-25 campaign. As usual, the Bulldogs posted an impressive overall record (26-9) this past season, but they were eliminated in the Round of 32 in the NCAA Tournament, Few’s earliest exit since the 2013-14 season.
Mark Few will look to return the Bulldogs to their former glory in the upcoming season. With players like Warley and Miller by his side, he shouldn’t lack the talent to accomplish his goal.
