JUCO 3-star EDGE Jefferson Adam commits to Iowa State

Nelsonville (Ohio) Hocking College three-star EDGE Jefferson Adam has announced his commitment to Iowa State. He chose the Cyclones over offers from Indiana and West Virginia among others. Other schools to offer Adam include Akron, Bowling Green and California.

Adam is the No. 38 overall prospect and No. 4 EDGE in the 2023 Junior College On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in Ohio.

On3 rates the 6-foot-4, 195-pound pass rusher higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per On3’s Junior College rankings, he is the No. 35 overall prospect and No. 3 EDGE in the country.

Adam made an official visit to Iowa State and head coach Matt Campbell on Jan. 13. He also took four other officials, including to West Virginia and Indiana on Jan. 25 and Jan. 27, respectively.
