WATCH: Travis Kelce soaks in Kansas-Kansas State matchup at Allen Fieldhouse

Kansas and Kansas State both participated in the Big 12/SEC Challenge over the weekend, with the Sunflower State programs earning victories. Bill Self saw his squad get back to winning ways against Kentucky, while the Wildcats won at Florida. Happy campers all around on Saturday before facing each other on Tuesday night.
Winning ways continued on Sunday night with the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game. Tight end Travis Kelce helped earn another trip to the Super Bowl, facing off against the Philadelphia Eagles on Feb. 12. A majority of KU and KSU fans will be rooting for the Lombardi Trophy to head back to the midwest.
Kelce has some off time before heading to Phoenix and decided to soak in a basketball game. He was at Allen Fieldhouse, presumably cheering on the Jayhawks. A roaring round of applause came from the Kansas faithful when Kelce was announced over the video board.
You can watch the full moment here.
Momentum must have been brought from Arrowhead Stadium to Phog Allen by Kelce, with Kansas getting another win against Kansas State at home. Another dominant performance came from Jalen Wilson, who continued his excellent scoring stretch. He finished with 20 points and made four of nine three-point attempts.

Kelce had a solid performance himself on Sunday, having seven receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown. Thatâs all while being considered a game-time decision before the game, dealing with back spasms. The connection between him and Patrick Mahomes is something everyone in the building enjoys watching.
More important matters are most likely on his mind but if Kelce does feel like coming back to see Kansas play before the Super Bowl, he will have a chance. Texas will come to Lawernce, setting up for a major Big Monday showdown. Getting a second ring most likely takes priority though.
