Kansas has released its complete non-conference schedule ahead of the upcoming 2025-26 season. It features matchup against UConn, at North Carolina and vs. Duke in Madison Square Garden.

The Jayhawks will begin their season with a trip to the Bluegrass State to take on the ACC’s Louisville Cardinals on Oct. 24. They’ll take on Fort Hays State to round out the preseason before beginning their season at home against Green Bay on Nov. 3.

Bill Self and company will quickly head to Chapel Hill to take on the Tar Heels on Nov. 7. Less than two weeks later, Kansas will be back on the west coast for another blue-blooded matchup against Duke (Nov. 18) in the Champions Classic.

Notably, Kansas is set to be a part of the Players Era, which is set for Nov. 27-27 in Las Vegas, The Jayhawks are scheduled to play three games during the events. However, their opponents have not been announced as of this report.

Once they’re done in Vegas, Kansas will begin December at home against UConn before hitting the road for two games against both Missouri (neutral matchup in Kansas City) and NC State. Towson and Davidson round out the Jayhawks’ non-conference efforts. The non-conference finale against Davidson is set for Monday, Dec. 22.

“Once again we have a non-conference schedule that should be one of the most challenging non-conference schedules that anyone will play,” KU head coach Bill Self said, via release. “We have a home game against UConn game in early December, away matchups at North Carolina and NC State and neutral games Duke in the Champions Classic at Madison Square Garden, the three games at the Players Era tournament in Las Vegas, and another with Missouri in Kansas City.

“Those, along with the Big 12 competition, make this a very tough and demanding schedule. Our non-conference slate should certainly prepare us for what will be considered another great Big 12 season.”

In total, Kansas is slated to host 16 games inside their historic Allen Fieldhouse this season. Six of those matchups will be in the non-conference: Green Bay, Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Princeton, UConn, Towson and Davidson. The remaining 10 games will be against Big 12 Conference opponents.

Dates, times and television designations for the Big 12 conference schedule have yet to be announced. Once the regular season concludes, the Big 12 Tournament is set for March 10-14 at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City.
