Will Levis names offensive players that have made the biggest jump for Kentucky

Will Levis is spending some of his summer at the Manning Passing Academy, along with a host of other top quarterbacks at the collegiate level heading into the 2022 season.
While at the camp, Levis got a chance to speak with media and was asked which Kentucky players on the offensive end of the football have made the most improvement since last season. Here was Levis’ full answer as to which Wildcats are standing out:
“I would say two of our receivers. I think DeMarcus Harris and Chris Lewis both did a really good job of development. Demarcus is going on his fifth year, this is only [Lewis’s] second year, he redshirted last year. So both have an opportunity to start for us this year. Both have an opportunity to start for us this year and I just want them to keep working and keep competing because they’re good players and we want them to be elite for us.”
Levis gives major props to two returners in the passing game. DeMarcus Harris will be a redshirt junior this coming season after playing consistent snaps each of the last two years. He could contend to start if Levis is telling the truth about his increase in play.

Chris Lewis played sparingly last season and maintained his redshirt. He committed to the ‘Cats as part of the 2021 recruiting class. Where, as a recruit, Lewis ranked 403rd in the On3 Consensus and was a four-star prospect.
With Wan’Dale Robinson moving on to the NFL. and Josh Ali graduating, a lot more targets are in the table for this UK WR group. Several youngsters have the opportunity to step up and take a featured role in the offense. One of which is likely to be 2022 recruit Dane Key, who enrolled early and impressed during the spring scrimmage. He could demand major playing time as just a true freshman.
A lot to like about the future of the Kentucky receiver room.
