Brutus on his commitment to LSU

Herly Brutus went in-depth on his commitment to LSU with Rivals.

“I chose LSU because it felt like home away from home. I developed more comfortability with the staff at LSU. Also has a large creole population, and they are descendants of Haiti, so I feel my mom and family will be able to blend in and find comfort, because of our first language.”

What led to his trust in the coaching staff?

“I believe they will turn things around and be really good this year. Then with everyone graduating I will be coming in as a freshman to play some big minutes. I trust them because we talked about the good and the bad of how things could get with me.”

In his own words, what type of player is LSU getting in Brutus?

“I would describe my game as combo guard with a defensive presence standing at 6’7.”

He has a message for LSU fans.

“What’s up Tiger fans, I couldn’t be more excited to join the LSU family. I have definitely come to earn my stripes. Can’t wait  to show the LSU family how excited I am to be a Tiger. I’ve worked hard to get this point since I was 8 years old. This is a dream come true. I will not disappoint as I go above and beyond to accomplish my goals on this next level. Thank you for welcoming me to the program. See you on the court. Let’s Go Tigers 🐯💜”
