Jenkins is one of the more explosive wideouts on the LSU roster. Last year, he snagged a 28-yard touchdown catch to lift the Tigers to a heart-stopping victory over the Texas A&M Aggies. He stepped up in a big way during the 2021 season, hauling in 34 catches for 502 receiving yards and six touchdowns.

The Tigers’ superstar wideout is without a doubt, Kayshon Boutte, who is one of the nation’s very best at his position. ESPN’s Todd McShay recently unveiled the gifted wideout as his No. 1 wide receiver prospect in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Boutte amassed 38 catches for 509 yards and nine touchdowns in 2021 and landed on the preseason Biletnikoff Award watchlist for 2022. Beyond him, there’s still an array of options at wide receiver that head coach Brian Kelly plans to deploy. Jenkins has 62 catches for 966 yards and eight touchdowns during his three years at LSU.

B.J. Ojulari’s freakishly talented brother, Azeez Ojulari, starred for Georgia before moving onto the New York Giants in the NFL. Both were dominant pass rushers during their college football careers. Last season for the Tigers, B.J. Ojulari racked up 11.5 tackles for loss, seven sacks and nine quarterback hurries. As a freshman at LSU in 2020, the Marietta, Georgia, native suited up in eight games and totaled 16 tackles with five tackles for loss, four sacks, one pass defended, one forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

He’s one of the more gifted pass rushers in college football and with another big year next year, figures to be a first-round selection in the 2023 NFL DraftESPN’s Todd McShay projected him as the No. 23 overall pick in his way-too-early mock for next offseason.

Ali Gaye is expected to be one of the top defensive ends in college football this season. He missed most of the 2021 season due to injury. His junior season at LSU in 2020, Gaye earned second-team All-SEC honors after racking up 32 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, and two sacks. He also tied for the team lead in pass breakups that season with six.

Kickoff for the matchup tonight between Florida State and LSU is slated for 7:30 p.m. EST on ABC. The game will be played in the Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
