LSU safety Sage Ryan will enter the NCAA transfer portal, he announced on his social media accounts on Thursday.
Ryan is a redshirt junior who has been a multi-year contributor for the Tigers, playing in a ton of games and at multiple positions. He’ll be coveted for that versatility.
“After prayers and conversations with my family, I have decided to enter my name in the transfer portal with 1 season remaining of eligibility,” Ryan wrote.
Ryan is coming off his most productive season yet. In 2024, Ryan tallied 42 tackles, 2.0 tackles for a loss, a sack, three forced fumbles, an interception and six passes defended.
In total, he has played in 43 career games with 21 starts. He thanked the LSU staff on his way out for the opportunity provided.
